Caring for the elderly has long been a
part of Lana’s
life since first volunteering at a Skilled Nursing Facility
in high school. From there came several enjoyable and
challenging years as a CNA while earning her Bachelor’s
Degree in Accounting at Pacific Lutheran University where
she graduated with Honors.
After completing both the CPA and CMA designations,
Lana started her career as a Long Term Care professional.
She has 23 years of accounting experience with over fifteen
devoted to the LTC industry. She has enjoyed mastering
all aspects of the daily workings of the business office,
including corporate financial areas. This has given her
a diverse background in every component of reimbursement;
billing, information systems, software conversions, a/r
implementation & a/r management.
Her success in reducing receivables and her experiences
with agencies that were universally ill-equipped to efficiently
work SNF receivables convinced her of the tremendous
need for an alternative. SNF Solutions was created to

Lana is a member of the American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of
Management Accountants, HFMA (Healthcare Financial Management Association) and AAHSA (American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging).
